What to do and what to avoid after thread lifting treatments at Beauty Z Clinic Myeongdong.
Facial cleansing and makeup are possible 2-3 hours after the procedure. It is recommended to keep the Duoderm patch attached to the treated area until it heals.
Please take prescribed medication consistently for 3 days to prevent inflammation and reduce pain. If you have a history of antibiotic allergies or other conditions, please inform us.
For rapid reduction and minimization of swelling and bruising, gentle cold compress is recommended for 3 days after the procedure.
Sleep in an upright position for 3 days to minimize swelling.
For 7 days after the procedure, it is recommended to avoid excessive alcohol, smoking, visiting saunas/jjimjilbangs, hot water baths, and strenuous exercise to prevent inflammation.
Bruising, swelling, pain, or foreign body sensation may occur, but will typically resolve within 1-2 weeks. However, if pain intensifies progressively even after taking prescribed medication, or if skin color changes, itching, or heat sensation persist, please contact the clinic and visit for consultation.
To prevent thread displacement and breakage, avoid opening your mouth wide for 4 weeks. (Avoid yawning widely or laughing loudly) Additionally, for double chin procedures, please be careful not to turn your head sharply.
Occasionally, depending on skin condition, thread may protrude from the treated area. In this case, please avoid touching it with your hands and visit the clinic for appropriate treatment. Please contact us if you experience any other inconveniences.
